Vesuvianite
History And Legend: Vesuvianite was known in antiquity as a healing and protective stone. The Ancient Greeks called it ‘Idokras’ (“Mixed form”), but it is now called vesuvianite because it was discovered at the foot of Mount Vesuvius.
