Epidote

History And Legend: The Stone Takes its name from the Greek epidosis, meaning “Growing together”. It consists of a combination of deformed red jasper and green epidote solidly bound together. From this it conveys the meaning that what comes together, belongs together. Epidote is found in South Africa, Brazil and China.

Healing Powers: Epidote strengthens the body’s condition and immune system. It can be used for all illnesses because of this strengthening effect; it also decreases the respective physical weakness. In addition it is useful for stimulating the digestion and metabolism. It also helps things that are lost to be found again.

Magical Properties: Epidote encourages patience, develops the psyche and gives optimism and self-confidence. Sorrow cannot harm the person carrying it, nor will he/she be affected by despair.

Chakra Classification: It affects the heart chakra and the secondary chakras of the hand.

*Healing stones should be cleaned under water. Once a month the stone whould be recharged for several hours in a group of rock crystals.
