Venus in Earthy Taurus or flirty Gemini?: The Astrology Of Rain

I drew up a chart for Rain. This is a bit tricky since I don’t have a birth time. I put his Sun on the Ascendant (First house) since I don’t have an official birth time for him. Even with out the time of birth, I can give some basics.

Born Jung Ji-Hoon on June 25th, 1982(Also known as Rain of “Ninja Assassin” fame) is a singer, dancer, actor and all around yummy sex-god.

Rain has Venus in sensual Taurus at 29 Degrees making him a very loyal lover. He needs all of his senses stimulated while love making: He loves scented candles, oils and even sexy food. What stood out the most for me is his Venus Opposite Uranus in Sagittarius (This man is kinky in bed) Venus/Uranus aspects create individuals fall in love pretty quickly. He may think that every partner he meets is the one and gets caught up in love affairs with a vengeance. The asteroid Juno, which represents marriage and in a man’s chart what he see’s as ‘wifey’ material, is in earthy Capricorn. With Juno in Saturn ruled Capricorn, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rain wound up with an older woman or got married later on in life.

His Moon is in Fiery Leo (Which I love) He’s a natural showman who loves the stage and all of the attention he receives while performing. His Moon makes a beautiful trine to Neptune. The Moon represents nurturing, how one is ‘fed’ emotionally and the mother archetype. He adored his mother, and with Neptune involved she has reached almost goddess-like-status to him. It may be difficult for any woman to live up to this kind of mother worship as well. Neptune in aspect to his Moon reveals that Rain puts his women (Moon) on a pedestal (Neptune). Moon/Neptune aspects can also indicate a person who can tap into people emotionally. This aspect can also cause Rain to fall into victim-hood if he isn’t careful. “Look what I’ve been through!” is often the motto with Neptune/Moon types, especially when they feel hurt or become upset.

Rain’s chart is mainly water and air. With the exception of his Venus in very late degree of Taurus (His Venus could be in Gemini, but my intuition says otherwise. He’s very Venusian in nature, especially in interviews when he discusses women/relationships) and the Planetoid Chiron in Taurus (Chiron in Taurus makes Rain experience some wounds surrounding resources and money. He needs security. Especially as a Cancer.) He has very little earth in his chart. While he may crave a relationship, his restless air nature may make settling down (He has Mercury in mutable Gemini, causing him to change his mind quite a bit) a bit of a challenge.

Transiting Pluto (Transformation) is currently Opposing his Natal Sun in Cancer. This Transit is nothing to sneeze at. It’s major. He is going through some major changes on a soul level. In addition to this, Transiting Saturn is conjunct his Natal Pluto almost exact. Saturn/Pluto Transits can create restrictions and fewer resources on a mundane level. Pluto Transforms and Saturn builds structure. This describes his military service perfectly.
