This is pure Tarot porn for me! I love the sound of the cards.
These are some of my runes. I have been obsessed with divination since I was young. I have over 40 different tarot decks, a set of runes, and shelves of books on different forms of divination from the tarot to the I-Ching.
I love the tarot for the symbolic artwork and the runes for encapsulating the idea of letters as having magical transformative powers. I find drawing a card or tune is a good exercise in self-exploration as you have to confront your hopes and desires and really analyze the question or problem you are seeking an answer or clarification on. My basic philosophy is that there is no supernatural magic behind the act, but a lot of basic psychology. You may have heard about a method of flipping a coin to make a decision. As you flip the coin, you generally feel a strong pull to heads or tails. This is what you are really hoping for. Search your feelings as to why this is and it is a great learning experience. Now expand the simple binary heads or tails option to the 78 cards of the tarot and you have a much richer vocabulary for which to explore your thoughts.
The odd thing about all of this: I now have a job doing forecasting for a manufacturing firm. My job involves trying to predict the future. I didn’t even realize the connection until I had been doing it for a year.
